Background

Why I Volunteer

35 years in transport and logistics, specialising in customs, trade, and compliance projects.

Over the years through work, I have assisted many charities and got to see first-hand the amazing work they do. As a keen motorcyclist for over 40 years, I had always had interest in blood bikes and the opportunity arose to join Cú Chulainn. I volunteer with this amazing group of people to support our local communities and help those in need.

Gerry Coyle

Treasurer

Background

Why I Volunteer

Owner of a service station and funeral director business in Co. Monaghan.

Because of the influence of Linda Moore, the 'Controller'. I admire her dedication and commitment to the work of supporting hospitals and patients, especially during the height of the Covid pandemic. I volunteer with CCBB because I love knowing that a simple journey can make a real difference to someone's life. Whether it’s delivering blood or human milk, every trip matters. It’s a privilege to be part of a team that helps when it’s needed most.
